Art Festival showcasing local warrior and community artists. Saturday, Oct. 8th from 10am-6pm on the North lawn of the WWI Museum. We will have a diverse showing of art, food trucks, a band, kids art area and a community art project. Free to public.
KC United Art festival is a benefit for Monkey Brain Art. Monkey Brain Art is a 501c3 that teaches art, meditation and mindfulness to veterans, first responders, caregivers of our clients and nurses who suffer with PTSD. We call our artists warrior artists.
We will have warrior artists and community artists showing their art. There will be a wide variety of art for sale and 100% of the sale goes back to the artist. We will also have food trucks, adult beverages, Renown local artist Vania Soto will lead the kids art project area from 10:30am-1:30pm. Look for the community art project where everyone will be able to participate in creating a community piece of art. Catch our featured band Green Shoe Box led by Air Force veteran Stan Adell. Event is free to the public.
