Restaurada como casa representativa, interpreta la vida cotidiana de una próspera familia granjera de Missouri con raíces en Kentucky.  El período de interpretación abarca los años 1830 a 1865 aproximadamente.  La gira tiene una duración de una hora e incluye agricultura de frontera, una batalla completa de la Guerra Civil, el conflicto fronterizo devastador que precedió a la Guerra Civil y las personas esclavizadas que vivían y trabajaban en la casa.

A Historic House Tour The John Wornall House in Kansas City, Missouri tells the story of the southern family that built it. Restored as a representative home, it portrays the daily life of a prosperous Missouri farming family with roots in Kentucky. The period of interpretation covers the years 1830 to 1865 approximately. The tour last one hour and includes frontier farming, a full-on Civil War battle, the devastating border conflict that preceded the Civil War and the enslaved people who lived and worked in the house.

The Wornall House has a small adjacent parking lot located on the east side of the house. Additional free street parking is available on 61st Terrace.
