Cool art gifts including original art, retro KC magic plastic shrinks, shirts and lots more original, handmade cool stuff.
The studio of Michael Schliefke, located in Kansas City’s ‘Historic’ Northeast neighborhood, will be hosting a Holiday Market between Thanksgiving and Christmas. In addition to gallery ready paintings and drawings, a number of new drawings, silkscreen prints and original t-shirts will be for sale. Gift certificates for adult art classes will also be available. There will also be some other art adjacent projects making their debut, including Kansas City Magic Shrinks, a craft kit relic from the 70’s and 80’s where you color KC landmarks and then shrink the hard plastic in your toaster oven! I’m also taking my deep, weird interest in Catholic relics to unveil a print-based art project that has been years in the making.
The show will open on Saturday, November 26 from 10-7. The show will have open hours Wednesday - Friday 12-7 and Saturday from 10-7 through December 17th. It will also be open during those weeks by appointment. More information can be found at my website, schliefkevision.com
