A diverse group of friends traverses the often-harrowing growing pains of girlhood. Written and directed by Crystal Moselle, this film takes an unflinching look at family, sexuality, and community from the perspective of towering young women as they glide through New York City on their skateboards.
Erin Hamer-Beck, Ph.D., Rockhurst University visiting assistant professor of English, will introduce this film and lead a discussion following the screening.
