The William Baker Festival Singers & Orchestra perform Johannes Brahms’ Requiem on Sunday, April 16, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City.
The William Baker Festival Singers & Orchestra celebrates its 25th anniversary season with a performance of Johannes Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem. Music Director William Baker conducts the 50-voice semi-professional chorale with soloists Megan Moore and Ed Frazier Davis in one of the greatest works in the Western canon. The program will also include the Kansas City Premier of Mother and Son, a work for orchestra by former Kansas City resident Ed Frazier Davis. The performance is the 2023 Kenneth Babcock Memorial Masterworks Concert. There will be one performance only, Sunday, April 16, 2:00 PM, at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, Broadway at 13th Streets in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
