Kansas City Bronze, an elite community handbell ensemble ringing 120 bells and chimes, performs Outburst! -the culminating performance of their fourth concert season. Highlights include arrangement of favorite hymns, including Praise to the Lord, At the Name of Jesus and Be Thou My Vision, the latter played entirely on chimes. Featured concert works include selections by prominent composers of bell music, Cathy Moklebust, William Payn and Karen Lacey Buckwalter. Repertoire includes works created for leading ensembles such as Raleigh Ringers, Ring of Fire and the Westminster Concert Bells.
