The Charlotte House Series is thrilled to welcome Kansas City M2 Duo partners Nick May and Maya Tuylieva to make their Series debut on April 15th. M2 Duo has been described as "...two incredible musicians, who perform as one voice" and has performed for audiences since 2018, concertizing across the country, including recent and notable performances at Carnegie Hall. The duo currently collaborates with a diverse range of modern composers, regularly commissioning, promoting, and premiering new compositions for saxophone and piano. The duo is excited to premier Peter Dayton's Sonata, which was commissioned by the Charlotte House Series specifically for M2 Duo.
