Her Art/Their Art Storytelling Night

Her Art/Their Art Storytelling Night

Presented by InterUrban ArtHouse at InterUrban ArtHouse

Join us for a night of stories, poetry and discussion in conjunction with the Her Art/Their Art exhibition. Women and non-binary artists will share their experiences, work, and stories about life with special guests, Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens.
Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens have been 50/50 collaborators on multimedia projects since 2002. They are authors of the Ecosex Manifesto and producers of the award-winning film Goodbye Gauley Mountain and Water Makes Us Wet, a documentary feature that premiered at documenta 14 and screened at MoMA in New York. Sprinkle is a former sex worker with a PhD in human sexuality. Stephens holds a PhD in performance studies and is founding director of E.A.R.T.H. Lab at University of California at Santa Cruz.
This event is free and open to the public, no registration required.

This story telling event is made possible through a collaboration with The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.  The Her Art/Their Art exhibition has been a long standing partnership between IUAH and UMKC Women's Center.
