BOOKLOVER’S BURLESQUE is the world’s sexiest literary salon matching literary readings with burlesque, boylesque and/or draglesque performances. It is an inclusive show that is diverse, body-positive, sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ positive, empowering, and feminist in nature. The show raises up performers and readings representing all types of cultures, ages, bodies, and abilities. Annie-Mae Allure of the Rude Revue is bringing Booklover's Burlesque to Kansas City as a special ONE NIGHT ONLY event to raise funds and awareness for the Missouri Library Association. The Musical Theater Heritage venue is on the North end of the 3rd floor. Please check in with the box office to purchase/pick up your tickets. Ushers will direct you to the appropriate theater!
