John Steinbeck’s literary masterpiece comes to life onstage for the first time in Kansas City in 25 years! This depiction of 20th century Americana interweaves themes of dignity, faith, redemption, and perseverance. Audiences follow the Joad family as they journey West in the hope of finding a new life away from the desolation they face. This production taps into a cornucopia of the human experience that climaxes in an act of profound kindness rooted in tragedy.
Rated PG-13 for some coarse language, violence, and partial nudity. TRIGGER WARNING: This show contains firearms that are never fired, as well as elements of loss that may be upsetting for some audience members.
