Arts in the Park, held on June 7th and 8th, is an accessible two-day festival features over 70 local artists and makers, live music, roaming performances, Beer Garden, local food trucks, a kid’s area with a petting zoo, bounce houses, and more. Arts in the Park also provides an opportunity for young artists through their Youth Artist and Entrepreneurship program. This two-day event is held at Macken Park in North Kansas City, Missouri. All artist booths are accessible via sidewalks.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

Friday, June 7 from 5 pm to 10 pm and Saturday, June 8 from 10 am to 8 pm.

WHAT ENTERTAINMENT WILL THERE BE?

 We will have live performances from a diverse group of musicians. See Website for more information.

WILL THERE BE CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES?

Yes! Lots of fun to be had for all families including a petting zoo! See Website for more information.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Yes, there will be food options on site both days.

 CAN WE BRING WATER BOTTLES?

 Yes, you are allowed to bring in water bottles. However, park rules ask that no glass containers are used in the park.

CAN I BRING IN ALCOHOL?

No, outside alcohol is prohibited. Craft beers and wine will be available for purchase at our Beer Garden and must be consumed within the festival grounds only.

 WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?

 Arts in the Park is located inside Macken Park at the Festival Shelter across the street from the North Kansas City Parks and Recreation Center.

Accessibility Info

Accessibility is important to Arts in the Park. Main entrance and all Art Booths are accessible via sidewalks. Accessible Bathrooms are available at the parks grounds and at the North Kansas City Parks and Recreation building across the street. The second stage is accessible via sidewalks and concrete pad.

Please note that the Main Stage, Food Trucks and Beer Garden are located in the grassy areas of the park.
