George Timock: A Legacy in Clay (Oct 6 - Jan 14)
Sculptures from the revered professor who taught at Kansas City Art Institute for 43 years. Timock's career spans 49 years with more than 100 exhibitions including select solo shows. His works are in several permanent collections including the Smithsonian Institute, Daum Museum of Contemporary Art and Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

Shalene Valenzuela: Weights and Measures (Sept 1 - Dec 16)
Ceramic sculptures with feminist imagery from the long-time Executive Director of the Clay Studio of Missoula in Montana. Valenzuela’s forms reference dress-makers mannequins, kitchen appliances, and tools of domestic work. Her imagery mines the same vein in high detail.

The Other Side of the Street: Charlotte Street on Walnut Street (Oct 6 - Jan 6)
For the past 20 years, Charlotte Street Foundation has provided resources for individual artists by building upon principles of supporting, challenging, and empowering artists of exceptional vision—all the while, cultivating an environment where artists and art can thrive. In addition to providing studio space for 30 artists (visual, performance, and writers), CSF also chooses several local artists each year for significant cash awards. Our exhibit features works in the Belger Collection that were made by former winners of this cash award. While the Belger Collection has a national range and features Renee Stout of Washington, DC, Jasper Johns of Sharon, CT, and William T. Wiley of California (among others), there have been acquisitions from Kansas City-based artists over the years.
