Students of the Youth Symphony will be engaging with professional musicians in a Sid-By-Side Rehearsal with the Kansas City Symphony in Helzberg Hall at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
The Kansas City Symphony musicians will be rehearsing some classic orchestral repertoire alongside the Youth Symphony of Kansas City's own Symphony Orchestra. The Symphony orchestra is comprised of the top musicians in the program, so this is an incredible learning opportunity for these young musicians to interact with professionals in their field.
Jason Seber is the Kansas City Symphony's David T. Beals III Associate Conductor and will be rehearsing the group during this session.
