Now through November 2017.
The 9th annual Visions of the Flint Hills art exhibition and sale will feature over 150 pieces of Flint Hills themed artwork with each sale benefiting Friends of Konza Prairie, a nonprofit organization in Manhattan, KS.
Join the party at Buttonwood Art Space! From 6-9pm, you’re invited to the opening reception for Visions of the Flint Hills.
In order to honor and preserve the vanishing prairie, this event will focus on the prairie in as many ways as we could think of! We’ll have bison meat provided by Buffalo George LeRoux and prepared by Jonathon Dallen’s Broadmoor Bistro. Tallgrass Brewing Co is providing a keg of their beer. Annie Wilson’s Tallgrass Express will perform and the gallery will be FILLED with Flint Hills artwork!
Not only will this be a great evening of fun and entertainment, it gives YOU the chance to give back! Each purchase of artwork will benefit Friends of Konza Prairie, a non-profit organization, in Manhattan, KS. That means, if you buy a piece of art, you will receive a tax deduction on 50% of your purchase! It’s a win-win!
Hope to see you at First Friday on October 6th!
