The entire Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach is rarely performed in its entirety in concert. It is even more rare that the piece is used for dance, and rarer still that the dance would be performed to live music rather than a recording. The choreography will carefully reflect the structure of the music, thereby enhancing the listeners' experience of the intricate patterns and counterpoint of Bach's work.

“I am very excited to once again collaborate with pianist Kairy Koshoeva on this project. We originally premiered the work in 2013, and it's a wonderful opportunity for us to present this gorgeous piece of music with original dance to Kansas City audiences.” said Jennifer Owen, Owen/Cox Dance Group Artistic Director.
