Clint Ashlock, Artistic Director/Conductor of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra is also a trumpeter and educator. He grew up in Kansas City and is a dedicated and tireless contributor to the jazz scene. He has performed with such luminaries as Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, and Natalie Cole as well as being a mainstay on the local KC circuit.
As a student of jazz, Ashlock completed his BS of Music in Trumpet Performance at Fort Hayes University, received two Masters degrees in Jazz Studio and Music Compostion from UMKC.
