Over 50 of Kansas City’s favorite musicians support KKFI 90.1 FM on Nov 17, 18th & 19th by appearing on an on-air music festival while listeners call 888.931.0901 to bid on two-hour performances donated by the musicians currently on air.
In the only event of its kind in the Kansas City community, over 50 of Kansas City’s favorite solo artists, duos and full bands will appear live in the Stockyards Brewing Co. 2017 Fall Band Auction, an on-air music festival in the studios of KKFI 90.1 FM on Friday, November 17 from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm; Saturday, November 18 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm; and Sunday November 19 from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm while listeners call in to bid on the acts during the scheduled 30 minutes that each act is showcased on KKFI.
The highest bidder wins a two-hour concert for a wedding, birthday party, block party, anniversary, reunion, or other event to take place at a mutually agreed upon time within the next twelve months within a one-hour radius of Kansas City. Minimum bids may vary depending on the act, but generally the bidding starts at $150 for solo acts and $250 for bands. Call 888. 931.0901 to bid.

This event is a live on-air band auction. Minimum bids may vary depending on the act, but generally the bidding starts at $150 for solo acts and $250 for bands. You can submit an advance bid on any participating solo artist, duo or group by emailing KKFI’s Development Director at development@kkfi.org or by calling 888.931.0901 any time between now and when that act’s bidding is over. All major credit and debit card are accepted for payment on a bid. Look for the bands and their scheduled on-air appearances at kkfi.org/bandauction. New bands can be added up to and throughout the festival so check back regularly.
