The final 2017 performance of the Park University International Center for Music’s 2017-18 concert season will feature a pair of ICM alumni — the husband-and-wife duo of violinist Cristian Fatu and pianist Victoria Martirosyan Fatu.
The final 2017 performance of the Park University International Center for Music’s 2017-18 concert season will feature a pair of ICM alumni. The husband-and-wife duo of violinist Cristian Fatu and pianist Victoria Martirosyan Fatu will hold a concert on Sunday, Dec. 10, starting at 4 p.m. in Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on the University’s Parkville Campus. Admission to the performance, a part of the ICM Chapel Series and ICM Distinguished Alumni Series, is free.
Cristian, who earned a Graduate Certificate in Music Performance/Violin in 2008 and a Master of Music degree in violin in 2010, and Victoria, who earned a Graduate Certificate in Music Performance/Piano in 2010, are scheduled to perform the following selections:
The Fatu’s are both members of the faculty at West Virginia State University — Cristian as an adjunct instructor of violin and viola, and Victoria as an instructor of piano and chair of music. Cristian is also a member of the Montclaire String Quartet.
