Summit Art is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization.  We aim to inspire and engage our community by advancing an appreciation for the visual arts.  Our mission is to encourage and promote artists and visual arts in Lee’s Summit and the surrounding communities.  We provide opportunities for networking, education, professional development, exhibitions, events and recognition for members and the art community.

Summit Art’s activities create an environment for visual artists in which they can exhibit, sell, learn, interact with peers, build inner confidence and add value to business and community.

Summit Art hosts and manages two annual signature events, the Summit Art Festival and the Summit Art Plein Air Festival. These events each attract over 100 distinguished artists from across the country, and are open to the public with free admission.  Attendance at the annual art festival averages over 20,000.
