Motive is a two-studio, 2200 square foot commercial photography rental space and media production facility located in the historic West Bottoms district in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Our two studio spaces are located on the 4th and 5th floor of the building:

Motive Commercial: A 1500 square foot exposed brick & original wood floor studio that includes a beautiful two couch centerpiece, two full-size adjustable 10 x 12 backdrop areas, dressing room, small workspace, and industry-standard portrait studio lighting equipment.

Motive Natural Light: A 700 square foot white wall & refinished laminate hardwood floor natural light studio with 4 large windows facing southwest, a full size 10 x 12 backdrop area, rotating flower wall arrangement, hedge wall, and small workspace with seating for 4.

Some of our most recent clients include Nike, Udemy, CBS Sunday Morning, The New York Times, and a multitude of local brands. They’ve used our space to accomplish their commercial video and audio production.
