Held every year in April, the Kansas City FilmFest has brought audiences and filmmakers together to celebrate the power of storytelling through a shared cultural experience of the cinematic arts.  As Kansas City’s flagship film festival, KC FilmFest is the largest and longest held competition and curated film festival in Kansas City and host to filmmakers, judges and artists from around the country and the world. Kansas City FilmFest is a festival of juried films, seminars, panels, receptions and parties. It’s a collaborative, multi-day, annual cultural event designed to celebrate the creativity and hard work of independent filmmakers from around the world! A mix of local, national and international award winning films are screened over a period of 5 days.
