The UMKC Gallery of Art is dedicated to enhancing the cultural environment of its campus and community by exhibiting art and providing meaningful educational experiences. Our mission is to encourage the appreciation and understanding of art and its role in society by providing a platform for critical thinking across mediums, cultures, disciplines, and contexts.

The UMKC Gallery of Art is the public exhibition space of the College of Arts and Sciences and is located in the Fine Arts Building on the University of Missouri – Kansas City campus. The current gallery director is Studio Art professor Davin Watne. Exhibits are open to the public during regular gallery hours or by appointment.
