In 1885, an enterprising group of Kansas Citians with a mutual appreciation for art formed a Sketch Club. They had no idea this Sketch Club would lay the groundwork for an institution that would become a distinguished four-year college of art and design.

With an impressive 130-year history of providing accessible fine art, design and liberal arts instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, Continuing Education at KCAI is the region’s resource for connecting community members that share a love of the arts.

PARKING INFO

Continuing Education's office at the Kansas City Art Institute is located on the 2nd-floor of the historic Jannes Library. Temporary 15 minute and reserved Continuing Education parking is available behind the library, at the top of the hill for students wishing to enroll in office.
