The Tallis Scholars

Presented by Friends of Chamber Music at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Kansas City MO

Dec 01 2017
The Tallis Scholars

This is the year to become acquainted with Heinrich Isaac, a towering musical figure in renaissance Europe, and the most prolific composer of his time

In 2017, we celebrate the work of this great artist on the quincentennial of his death in Florence. Join the Tallis Scholars as they celebrate the life of this Flemish master in performance of his motets alongside those of his contemporaries Nicolas Gombert, John Browne, and Josquin des Prez.

Join us at 6:30pm for a pre-concert performance by local choir Te Deum in an evening highlighting innovators from the height of the renaissance to the much more recent 20th-century.
