For her two Open Spaces performances, Maura Garcia premieres a new full-length work, Uncle Jimmy’s Table, featuring handcrafted sculptures by Rachelle Gardner-Roe.
From her Lawrence, KS base, choreographer and dancer Maura Garcia explores the nexus of southeastern indigenous culture via multi-media place-specific dances, often incorporating local performers as her collaborators.
