Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater grew from a now-fabled performance in March 1958 at the 92nd Street YMCA in New York City. Prepaid Garage parking is $10, and passes for our Kauffman Center events are valid for the attached Arts District Garage (17th and Broadway). Valet Parking passes are $18 and are valid for curbside service the Kauffman Center’s south entrance (the glass side); enter the drive from Broadway Blvd.

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.
Garage parking passes and valet parking passes are available in advance for most events. Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
