Artist Talk - Hoseok Youn

In conjunction with his sold out “Introduction to Goblet Making” workshop, artist and Belger Glass Annex instructor Hoseok Youn is giving a free artist talk on Thursday, February 1 at Belger Crane Yard Studios (2011 Tracy Ave.) starting at 6pm.

Hoseok Youn is the Lead Glass Blower and Instructor at the Belger Glass Annex, and his artwork combines superhero imagery, toys, and action figures with traditional Venetian glassware. His artwork has been exhibited and collected across the United States and internationally. This talk and slide presentation will focus on Hoseok’s personal artwork and career as an artist.

Hoseok is also leading the First Friday glassblowing demonstration the following evening at the Belger Glass Annex (1219 E. 19th St.) from 6-8pm. This free glassblowing demonstration is open-house style and will showcase Hoseok’s personal glassblowing style. Mark your calendars for the following:
