-At least 6-7 performance opportunities including 3 major shows of Dance in the Park, Modern Night, and our company Spring concert.

The City in Motion Professional Dance Company is comprised of professional dance artists who demonstrate remarkable chemistry on stage. Under the artistic co-direction of Bobbi Foudree & Ann Shaughnessy, an environment is created that supports the evolution of original and unique dance pieces that appeal to an expanding audience base. The company produces 3 annual performances: Dance in the Park, A Modern night at the Gem, and the professional company Spring Concert. They also participate in events like Open Stage at the J and the Kansas City Fringe Festival. City in Motion\\\’s professional company dancers are financially compensated for rehearsals, performances, and choreography. The 2023-2024 season runs August through May.
