Deconstruct Reconstruct

Trifts into sophisticated sartorial finds! Bring two to four garments to this hands-on workshop through which you will learn how to properly deconstruct and re-purpose apparel. We’ll also share tips to scout items primed for re-purposing. Ten to twelve months sewing experience required. Only 10 spots available!

Students will learn:

• How to piece apart and alter a garment
• Tips to design with thrifted or re-purposed garments and fabric
• Patching and mending techniques for function and embellishment
• Hand sewing and machine sewing techniques for embellishment
