Led by Andy Hull, Manchester Orchestra developed from songs that he wrote during high school. Along with Hull's characteristic vocals, the band has reached widespread acclaim for its large, emotive indie rock sound. In 2017, the group released "A Black Mile To the Surface" — its first album of new material in three years. They will share a co-headlining tour with New Jersey-based indie rock band The Front Bottoms.
