Mary Lou William's The Zodiac Suite

Led by Clint Ashlock, the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra will present a concert of music by Mary Lou Williams (1910-1981), one of the greatest jazz composers, arrangers and bandleaders of the 20th century, who was also a longtime resident of Kansas City. The program will feature some of Williams' best-known shorter songs, as well as long-form compositions, including the legendary but rarely performed Zodiac Suite.
