Modern Night at the Gem

Kansas City’s premier adjudicated choreographers’ showcase will celebrate contemporary and modern dance by featuring new works from the region’s most talented choreographers. Join City in Motion Dance Theater for the eighteenth annual presentation of “Modern Night” at the Gem Theater on 18th and Vine!
Choreographers include Ashley Ebner, Olivia Emert, Reina Gray, Liza Heeler, Stephen Loch, Katie Metzger, Kyle Mullins, Jennifer Owen, & Liat Roth.  Each choreographer has set their work on dancers from all over the region making “Modern Night” a unique opportunity for audience members to experience modern and contemporary dance performed by proficient dancers in one exceptional night.
