Molière’s 400th Birthday Celebration| May 1st 2:00pm – 4:30pm| The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art| Birthday celebration of the famous French Playwright of the 17th Century.
MOLIÈRE'S 400th BIRTHDAY PARTY! A FREE and open-to-the-public celebration with birthday cake and entertainment in Kirkwood Hall in the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Period costumes are encouraged, but not required. Nelson-Atkins Coronavirus precautions observed. Details in calendar below (free tickets are required by the Nelson).
The birthday celebration in Kirkwood occurs during regular museum hours, which means that visitors will need to reserve a timed-entry ticket for access to the museum. ... view more »

Tickets are free and can be reserved in advance online (recommended!) online, by phone, or onsite at the information desk. Masks may be removed for eating and drinking inside Rozzelle Court but not in Kirkwood Hall.

Entrance to the Parking Garage is off Oak Street, just south of 45th Street. The garage is fully ADA accessible. Parking is $14 per car | Free for members A free lot at the corner of 45th Street and Rockhill Road is available first come, first served. Public parking may not be available there during special events.
