The program features orchestral works inspired by Greek mythology: Beethoven's Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus; Symphony in C, "The Four Ages of Man," by Dittersdorf; Overture to Iphigenia in Aulis by Gluck; Handel's Overture to Hercules; and the Overture to Orpheus by Offenbach.
