One Night Stand

The 7th Annual KCAC Members exhibition is back by popular demand!

A one-night pop-up art exhibition in the KCAC galleries for KCAC member artists to show their newest works and invite all of our friends to see.

This is a great opportunity to get some holiday shopping out of the way, support your local artists and enjoy a night out with friends!!

Music provided by our good friend Johnny2tone, food and beverage is flowing throughout the night and GREAT ART!

How it works…..

Artworks are offered for sale by the artist.

When you find an artwork you want to buy, look around, the artist will be close by.

When you find the artist ask them about purchasing the artwork. Artists handle the transaction.

Please pay by cash or check if possible. Credit is possible directly from some artists, KCAC can also assist with credit transactions (artists pay a fee).

The artist will fill out a sales receipt available from KCAC. You get one copy, the artist gets one copy and KCAC gets one copy.

It’s cash and carry so purchased works can go home with you tonight!

Your sales receipt must be shown at the door for every artwork you’ve purchased.

The exhibition will be held in BOTH the upstairs AND downstairs galleries.

DELIVERY:
Saturday, November 3rd from 11 am – 4 pm. OR Wednesday, November 7th from 11 am – 4 pm.

INSTALLATION:
One artwork per person

• As this event continues to grow each year we will utilize BOTH upstairs AND downstairs galleries. KCAC staff determines placement and installs artwork. IF you participated LAST YEAR your work will be in the opposite gallery this year.
• It is YOUR responsibility to have the work ready to hang in the gallery (i.e. your artwork is framed, wired, any special hanging equipment is provided, KCAC will have pedestals for 3-D artworks, etc.).
• Works can NOT exceed 40” in ANY dimension. This includes the frame.
• No diptychs, triptychs or artworks with multiple parts.
• KCAC will have labels for you to fill out and put next to your work with: artists name, title, medium, retail price, & phone number so guests can text you the night of the event if they are interested in buying your work. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS ALLOWED ON THE WALLS.

RECEPTION:
The One Night Stand event will be held Friday, November 9th from 6 – 9 pm. There will be appetizers, beverages and music provided throughout the night. Invite your patrons, family and friends. The more the merrier.

SALES:
Sales are YOUR responsibility, BUT ALL SALES MUST BE RECORDED VIA A KCAC SALES RECEIPT! Please visit the check-in table for a KCAC Sales Receipt for the night of the event.

• Payment will be taken by YOU. Checks should be made out to YOU.
• Credit Card Reader Options: Square OR PayPal Here
• KCAC will NOT take a commission for any sales UNLESS KCAC staff is required to be involved in the sale of the artwork (i.e. running a credit card or facilitating the sale due to an artist not being present). The commission rate will be 30% if KCAC handles the sale due to the artist not being present or if you use the KCAC credit card machine.
• All sales are to be made through the artist, but you MUST complete a KCAC SALES RECEIPT and fill it out completely. This form is in three parts. One is for the ARTIST, the second is for the BUYER and the third is for KCAC to collect as the artwork leaves KCAC property.

PICK UP:
If you work is not sold the night of the event, you have 2 options for collecting your work.

• You may take the artwork with you as you leave the event on Friday, November 9th.
• You may pick up your work on Saturday, November 10th from 11 am – 1 pm.

If works are left after 1 pm on Saturday, November 10th, they become the property of KCAC.
Artists must show ID to remove their art off the walls on Friday & Saturday.
