Origin Story - Opening

Origin Story is a group show with artists exploring their own pasts as an explanation and motivation for their current actions. Separately the work shows unique examinations of their own identities, but together the artworks begin to form a house haunted by memory. The reinterpretation of the origin story shows that our pasts contain infinite puzzle pieces. As the artists begin to piece together their own selves into a tactical form, it reveals not only the variables unique to one’s own identity but also the pieces that we share.
