Rainy Day Books will host author and renowned local artist Jenny Hahn for a special sharing of her debut book Creative Flow on Thursday, May 2nd from 6:30-8 pm. The free evening program will include an interactive conversation moderated by producer, film critic and arts advocate Lonita Cook. The presentation will be followed by a book-signing with refreshments.
Creative Flow: Tap and Express Your Juicy Essence opens with Hahn’s personal story as a blocked art student suffering from anxiety, self-doubt and an eating disorder, before leading the reader on a hands-on transformational journey home to themself and their innate creative power. It blends simple teachings with real-life stories, writing prompts, mindfulness practices, and creative expression activities using basic art materials. According to Hahn, “We are all creative beings worthy of expression, artist or not. Creativity is inherent.”
