Rise Together, April 26-July 28, 2023, The Box Gallery, Local artists Gwen Murphy and Terri Pollack exhibit work with a focus on women.

Gwen Murphy and Terri Pollack, two Kansas City -based artists, exhibit artwork with a focus on women. Murphy's contemporary quilts explore issues of historical bias, gender and equality through a craft form charged with meaning. Pollack's paintings of empowered women at work capture everyday life as viewed from her computer screen.

This exhibit is in partnership with InterUrban ArtHouse and is sponsored by RISE, Commerce Bank's employee resource group for women.

PARKING INFO

Free parking validation is available for all visitors to The Box Gallery. Please park in the Commerce Bank Building Parking Garage at 1025 Main Street. Once parked, enter the main building on the 2nd floor. Bring your parking ticket in and request a validation sticker at the Security office window located at the west end of the Arcade.
