StoneLion Puppet Theatre — 'Kira’s Song: Discovering the Blues'

Kira's Song - Discovering the Blues

Kira’s Song | Wednesday – Thursday, March 6-7 at 10 a.m. | Polsky Theatre | Journey through time to hear from the “Queens of the Blues.” Learn what sets the blues apart from other music and how it influenced rock and hip-hop.

Kira has it rough. Her little bird-brained brother is always getting her in trouble. Just when she is about to blow her feathers off, she is visited by her three “feathered” godmothers, who teach her how to use music to express her feelings with the incredible sounds of the blues. “You don’t need to be throwing things and making a fuss, just sing the blues, girl,” they tell her.
