With a focus on North American Indigenous artists, the Travois First Fridays series continues on Oct. 4, with Mona Cliff, an enrolled member of the Aaniiih (White Clay people)/Assiniboine tribes, and has Polish and German heritage.
Mona Cliff was born in Prescott, AZ, was raised in Portland, OR, and currently resides in Lawrence, KS. She is an enrolled member of the Aaniiih (White Clay people)/ Assiniboine tribes, and has Polish and German heritage. She uses traditional Indigenous techniques in conjunction with contemporary images.

Come early for our National Solar Tour open house, starting at 5 p.m. Please enter on the northwest side of the building, along 19th Street, just east of Broadway.
Please note, there is not accessible access to the rooftop deck for the tour. The only access is by stairway. Panels can be seen from three sides at exterior of building.
For accessible entry for the art exhibition, enter through our main doors on the south side of the building (19th Terrace).
Travois will be open to the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Preregistration is available on the Travois website at https://travois.com/news-events/first-fridays/.
Appetizers will be provided, while supplies last, along with two drink tickets for guests (21 and older) who preregister prior to each event. Stockyards Brewing Company is a co-sponsor and will provide craft beer. For each First Fridays opening, the participating artist will give a brief artist talk to introduce his or her work at 6:30 p.m.
