If you do any or all of these – and so much more – you’re experiencing arts and culture in Jackson County. And we want to hear all about it! – Jackson County recognizes that the arts; in all their forms, have the power to significantly impact the health and well-being of the community. They’ve asked ArtsKC to coordinate the creation of a plan for how to best support the arts & culture community to maximize this impact. We invite you to be a part of the creation of this important plan for the community! Come Join Us Who should participate? Anyone who lives, works, or has experienced art in Jackson County! Audience members, artists, shower singers, storytellers, muralists, and you! Everyone who enjoys and benefits from arts and culture. Why should you participate? Art is everywhere around us and we all benefit from having arts in our neighborhoods and in our lives. This community conversation is a place to discuss how arts and culture can have a greater impact on our community well-being. We hope you will participate in sharing your ideas about how the arts can best support the Jackson County community. BONUS: Two $25 gift cards will be given away to community participants during each session. One will be given away half way through the session and one at the end. Winners will be selected at random. How can you participate? Register for one of the two meetings by signing up via Eventbrite, and we will send the ZOOM link to join the day of the event. An agenda and meeting link will be sent with the ZOOM link. This will be a highly interactive conversation about the future of the arts in Jackson County. We hope to see you there!
