Denny Dowdy is riding a wave as a highly recognized regional watercolorist in the Plein Air Scene. With ‘Best of Show’ honors in 2 major events in the last year (2023) alone, Denny will demonstrate how he approaches the landscape in watercolor.

“I will provide a painting demonstration on how I approach a landscape in watercolor. Back to front (background to foreground), light to dark (increasing contrast)...from the first wash to the last detail!

There is free 3-hour street parking on Baltimore Avenue north of the office, free 3-hour parking on Wyandotte St., and free 3-hour parking on Southwest Boulevard. There is also a paid parking garage just south of 17th Street on Main Street in the Barkley building.
