William Baker Festival Singers present The Sacred Fire

The William Baker Festival Singers, recently returned from their successful tour of the nation’s capital that included performances at the Washington National Cathedral and the Basilica of the National Shrine, present “The Sacred Fire”, their first 2018-2019 concert in Kansas City.  The 50-voice semi-professional chorale specializes in sacred a cappella classic works, spirituals and gospel songs.  They will be joined by guest artists, The Kansas City Women’s Chorus and the Raymore-Peculiar Chamber Singers in a festive afternoon of sacred music.

The Festival Singers have performed tour concerts in New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, St. Louis, Austin, San Antonio, and many other cities.  The chorus has produced over a dozen nationally-released recordings, and has been featured on National Public Radio’s Performance Today.  The William Baker Festival Singers is Chorus in Residence at the historic St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in downtown Kansas City, MO.
