Call for Artists - Arts in the Park Festival - North Kansas City, Missouri

We are excited to announce applications are now open for the eighth annual Arts in the Park Festival!

Arts in the Park showcases art from fine artists and makers at Macken Park in North Kansas City, Missouri. The festival prides itself on promoting local artists from Kansas and Missouri. This accessible two-day festival features over 70 local artists and makers, live music, roaming performances, Beer Garden, local food trucks, a kid’s area with a petting zoo, bounce houses, and more. Arts in the Park also provides an opportunity for young artists through their Youth Art and Entrepreneurship program. This two-day event attracts thousands and is brought to you by the City of North Kansas City and North Kansas City Parks and Recreation. Arts in the Park is free to attend and open to the public. Mark your calendar now for June 7 and 8! Festival will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm on Friday and 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday.

Friday, June 7 from 5pm to 10pm & Saturday, June 8 from 10am to 8pm

Application Fee $15.00
There is a $15 non-refundable application fee due with each application. Upon acceptance you will need to pay the vendor fee. Artists and makers must be able to sell work that is at least 75% handmade. MLM, resellers, or commercial businesses will not be accepted. Food vendors must send their information to vlressler@nkc.org to be considered.

Applications Open: Wednesday, January 3
Deadline for submissions: Sunday, April 7 by 11:59pm.
Applicants will be notified by Tuesday, April 16.
$100 vendor fee will be due once accepted.

VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN WHITE 10X10 TENT, only space for the tent will be provided with vendor fee. Vendors must be set up for both days for the entire time of the festival. Please provide an image of your booth set-up inside a white 10x10 tent in your application. Rain or Shine Event.
