Gloria Heifner is an experimental artist focusing currently on abstract acrylics, portraits, and reverse decoupage.
After completing a degree in Commercial Art at Central Missouri State University, Gloria moved from her small farming community where she grew up to Kansas City, MO where over the years she worked in the art departments of several corporations.
When not at work, she took art classes and workshops and eventually becoming a member of The Northland Exposure Artists Gallery in Parkville, MO, where she continued to grow as an artist and sell pieces throughout the United States. Upon retirement, she opened her own studio practice in North Kansas City, MO where she spends her time experimenting with new approaches of creating art.
Gloria has shown her art in galleries throughout the Kansas City area including The Leedy-Voulkos Gallery, MLB Gallery, KCKCC Art Gallery, The George R. Schlegel Art Gallery, iWerx, Helzberg Diamonds Corporate office, and Wallace Engineering.
