Kemper Outdoor Education Center
Kemper Outdoor Education Center is a great place for kids and kids at heart to have fun and explore the outdoors. The site is primarily used for field trip programs, special events, rentals, and the popular Jacomo Summer Camp.
The grounds feature: Western Auto Habitat Trail (one mile) offering Wetland, Prairie, Woodland & Cactus Glade Habitats; Butterfly and Water Garden; Wildlife Viewing; Archery Range; Arboretum; Playground; Swimming Pool; Playground; and a Shelter House.

April 1 - Mid-May: Closed Memorial Day and when the site is reserved for field trips
May 27 - August 15: Closed to the public while the Jacomo Summer Camp is in session
Mid-Aug - Mid-Oct: Closed Labor Day and when the site is reserved for field trips
PUBLIC ADMISSION FEES
There are no fees for visiting the site. Fees are required for field trips and summer camp programs. Contact our office for information.
