Anya Jocson

Anya Jocson is a visual artist of Filipino descent, born and raised in sunny Nicosia Cyprus. Over the past years she lived and worked as a mural artist in the Netherlands, where she also obtained her BFA from the University of the arts in Utrecht. The desire to explore new places and cultures is what lead her and her partner to Kansas City, where they both are currently based in.

Anya’s creative journey is an interplay of diverse cultural influences and the experiences that come from living abroad – the home outside of home. Her intricate murals, illustrations and animations are often inspired by nature, everyday moments and geometrical patterns. With a pen in hand, ink and a paint brush, Anya brings her ideas and clients ideas to life.
