Cody Wheelock

Cody Wheelock paints in the vein of classical realism, focusing on traditional drawing and oil painting methods.  His subject matter often includes landscape and figurative elements placing a priority on narrative.  In addition to original work Cody stays busy with commissions, primarily focusing on portraiture for both private and corporate clients.  Cody exhibits his work regionally and is the founder/principal instructor of Fount Atelier of Fine Art, a classical art instruction studio in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  Cody earned a M.A. in Art Education from Boston University and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska.
