Based in Independence, MO, I am primarily a black and gray portrait artist, although I enjoy trying my hand at any medium. Together, my mom, Nanci, and I have opened Creative Space KC. When I am not in the studio, I am usually walking a dog or two.

I have been artistically inclined for as long as I can remember – my favorite skill. Through years of practice I found my love for drawing portraits. Being able to honor the energy of someone special, person or animal, for a client means a lot to me. Using fine lines, highlights, and shadows, I pride myself on capturing as much detail as possible.

For me, going on a supply run means thrift & hardware stores. Along with portraits, I like to bring life back to once loved items. I love creating custom designs – from a tattoo idea to signage to painting an old purse – any way to make something meaningful.

I am inspired by nature, dark aesthetic, bold patterns, bright monochromes, and vintage styles. It usually takes three to five days to create and execute, depending on style, detail, size, etc. I assure each piece is made with love and excitement.

My work is truly inspired by the support of my loved ones. Without them I wouldn’t have the confidence to push my abilities. My mom being the biggest influence of all – it is a dream to get to work opposite of her in our own studio.
