Continuing Education at the Kansas City Art Institute presents, Photography: Setting the Stage, for creative high school students. In this course, students will learn the basics of painting in oil from observation. Weekly lessons will build skills, starting with the basics of materials and tools and ending with a full-color palette final project. Students will learn the difference between drawing and painting and leave the course with a solid foundation in observational skills.

Continuing Education's office at the Kansas City Art Institute is located on the 2nd-floor of the historic Jannes Library. Temporary 15 minute and reserved Continuing Education parking is available behind the library, at the top of the hill for students wishing to enroll in office.
